Ultra-Processed Foods Are Killing Fertility | New Study in Cell Metabolism


A groundbreaking new study published in Cell Metabolism shows that ultra-processed foods aren’t just wrecking your metabolism, they're reducing fertility.

👉 Male sperm motility dropped significantly in participants eating ultra-processed diets.
👉 Sperm counts are already down by over 50% since the 1970s and now it’s getting worse.
👉 Even with the same calories, people eating industrialized foods saw serious endocrine disruption, metabolic damage, and exposure to PFAS (forever chemicals).

Researchers used the NOVA classification system to define ultra-processed foods (category 4), which include industrial products made from synthetic, highly modified, or derived ingredients like artificial colors, refined flours, seed oils, and additives.
